The 2015 PanAm Games - the procurement process (25 May 2010)

Australian companies who had worked on the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics have a potential to succeed again at the 2015 PanAm Games in Toronto. The Games budget is set at $1.43 billion. The cost-sharing plan stipulates that Ontario and the federal government each contribute 35 per cent of the funding, or $500 million each. The procurement process has already started. On April 9th, 2010, the Toronto 2015 Pan American/Parapan American Games Organising Committee initiated the process to pre-qualify four firms to participate in a formal proposal process to develop its Brand Identity. The four firms were selected: BBDO Canada; Endeavour Marketing; Interbrand Canada Inc.; and Young and Rubicam.

Companies having experience Master Planning, Design and Compliance Services, Geotechnical Services relating to the Athletes Village and the planning design and compliance services for the Village have opportunity to express their interest. Time is already becoming a key consideration.
